Zyxel Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Zyxel Group”) was established through a share swap with Zyxel Communications Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Zyxel”) on August 16, 2010. Since then, the Group has carried out the reorganization subject to the Group Member’ industrial characteristics in order to upgrade the performance and competitiveness in the industry, as well as its industrial focus and profitability.

Zyxel provides comprehensive fixed and mobile broadband solutions to meet customer demands. MitraStar seeks to expand its customer base by offering the same technology to multiple clients, increasing production volume and economies of scale. Both companies continue to expand their businesses and support each other, collaborating in the R&D of telecom and networking equipment. Their joint efforts focus on operational optimization and technology interoperability, maximizing the return on technology investments and improving overall efficiency. In product R&D and manufacturing, the companies are strategically investing in next-generation high-bandwidth fixed networks, mobile communications, and digital home multimedia solutions, delivering high-performance products and technologies for service providers. ZNet is actively expanding into cloud network management, 5G, network security, and AI-driven solutions. We focus on understanding the diverse needs of SMBs and professional users, and are committed to providing secure, high-performance cloud networking solutions with AI integration. From an operational strategy perspective, ZNet is strengthening partnerships with managed service providers (MSPs) and authorized operators. ZNet has also introduced software subscription licensing services and related management platforms. Additionally, it launched its own Zyxel Store e-commerce platform, aiming to offer users a convenient one-stop purchasing experience and enhance customer loyalty. In terms of products and technology, Zyxel is actively developing 10G active and passive optical broadband access solutions to assist service providers in overcoming the challenges of high-bandwidth service demands. Beyond its focus on promoting All-In-One Whitebox OLT and network management software, Zyxel plans to launch its latest 100G fiber network product series in 2025, providing end-to-end fiber services. In the 5G sector, Zyxel continues to expand its portfolio of indoor and outdoor 5G NR Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions. In 2024, the company successfully mass-produced a flagship FWA product integrating 5G and Wi-Fi 7 technologies, achieving international Wi-Fi Alliance certification and gaining recognition from multiple Tier-1 European service providers. These successful deployments demonstrate Zyxel’s strong growth potential in both the 5G FWA and Wi-Fi 7 wireless networking markets.

In the development of business networking solutions, ZNet leverages the widespread adoption of cloud services to provide networking products and services tailored to enterprises and professional users. The company successfully developed Taiwan’s first Nebula cloud networking solution, enabling SMBs to transition to cloud-based network management. This solution effectively addresses challenges such as limited IT personnel, complex maintenance, and high costs. ZNet continues to expand its Nebula-compatible product lineup, now supporting over 100 device models, including wireless access points, switches, firewalls, and multiple 5G/LTE mobile routers, ensuring adaptability to various network environments. Additionally, ZNet is actively integrating AI-driven technologies to enhance network management efficiency and stability. This includes features such as Nebula AI-Intent, powered by large language models (LLMs), and the AI assistant "SecuPilot." Looking ahead, ZNet plans to incorporate more AI-powered applications, laying the foundation for the future of intelligent networking.

In response to climate change and the global push for net-zero emissions, Zyxel Group is actively promoting green product development and collaborating with its supply chain to establish a sustainable supply network. Providing low-carbon products that align with environmental trends has become a key operational focus in recent years. Zyxel has introduced a new generation of low-carbon, eco-friendly customer premises equipment (CPE), while ZNet has launched the world’s first cloud-managed security router featuring a 95% recycled plastic casing. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to low-carbon, circular sustainability principles in product design and development.

Zyxel Group’s expertise in networking technologies is also applied to the areas of national defense communications and information security. Zyxel Group is one of the few Taiwan-based suppliers capable of researching and developing the information security hardware products, such as radar, military wireless communications and firewalls.
